Regional Commission for Drugs
The Regional Commission for Drugs is accountable to the Health Department of the La Rioja Regional Government.
Its task is that of coordinating the measures covering prevention, medical attendance, social reintegration and information to the public on the subject of both drug addictions and other harmful addictive habits, as well as promoting a healthy life-style that contributes to forming health-conscious values.
It is also responsible for drawing up the Riojan Plan on Drug Addictions, as part of which it runs a Drug Observatory as well as an Information Office.
