DROJNET Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy
Regulations and compliance
The DROJNET Project Consortium informs the users of the web site on the subject of its Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy, in accordance with the laws currently in force in Spain (Law 15/1999) and France (Law 2004-801), the countries of application for the project, with the aim of allowing the latter to decide freely and voluntarily whether they wish to provide their personal details that are requested on the site.
The DROJNET Project Consortium reserves the right to modify its policy in accordance with its own criteria, in the case of any legislative or jurisprudential changes. Should any modification be introduced, the new text will be published on this same site, where the user will be informed of the new policy. In all cases, relations with the user shall be governed by the regulations in force at the moment of accessing the web page.
Voluntary – Obligatory Nature
The DROJNET Project Consortium will not collect any information on any person through its web page; for example, name, address, company, telephone number or e-mail address (“personal information”), unless the individual voluntarily decides to provide it (for example, by means of the query forms, “Text Messages” or “Your Opinion”).
Should there be any fields in the forms that are indicated as obligatory by the use of an asterisk or any other symbol, such fields shall be considered to be absolutely necessary in order to offer the service requested. Should any of these obligatory fields not be completed, the user shall not have access to the service in question offered on the site.
Exemption from responsibility
Data property. Right of cancellation, rectification and opposition
In addition, in compliance with the aforementioned laws, you are hereby informed that your personal details will be incorporated into a DROJNET Project Consortium file for the handling and reply to the requests for information sent in to the DROJNET Project Consortium. You have the right of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in the terms provided for in the said laws, which you may exercise in writing addressed to the Service for Drug Dependencies of the Government of La Rioja (Spain), the entity responsible for the file, at Gran Vía 18-8º in Logroño (La Rioja).
Secure Data processing
The DROJNET Project Consortium has adopted the legally required levels of security of personal data protection, as well as adopting the technical and organizational measures required by Spanish and French law and has installed all the means and technical measures available in order to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the data provided on the site. However, the user should be aware that security measures on the internet are not invulnerable.
Automatically stored non-personal information
When our web site is accessed, information which is not personally identifiable (for example, the type of Internet navigator and the operative system used; the domain name of origin; the number of visits, average duration of the visit to our web site, pages visited, etc.) may be automatically collected (that is to say, without the user registering). This information is used to measure the use made of our web page and to improve its contents.
